B747-400 Course

This class familiarizes the engineer with all airplane systems and gives detailed information to perform scheduled and non-schedule maintenance. The class includes a general familiarization, which describes aircraft measurements, normal system function, and major components.

Objectives
This course follows theĀ  ATA 104 Level I objectives and recommendations. Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to:

  • Explain the normal function and operating characteristics of aircraft systems.
  • Locate major components of aircraft systems.
  • Perform routine servicing as defined in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.
  • Identify major components of aircraft systems.
